Well, I’m actually a Superman Sleeper
I’m a side-sleeper. Well, actually I’m a Superman sleeper. Not only do I sleep on my left side (cue visuals) but I sleep with my left arm stretched out in front of my face, with a pillow stuffed in between my arm and my face. One day last summer I woke up with NO feeling in my arm. Couldn’t move it, couldn’t feel it.
I drove myself to the local hospital, changing gear with my right hand and steering with my knees while I did so. Here’s how the consultation went:
Me: “I can’t move my arm, I can’t feel it!”
Doc: “Which side do you sleep on?”
Me: “My left.”
Doc: “Do you sleep on your arm?”
Doc: “Yes. Well, just don’t do that.”
